Microsoft Access 97 subforms in design view

Sometimes I miss the obvious and with Microsoft Access 97 subforms this was one of those times, so if I did not know this, then the chances are some or you also do not know this. Others of you will know and will wonder how others could possibly not know. I work in six platforms of Microsoft Access - 97, 2000, 2002, 2003 2007 and 2010. For those of you who have Microsoft Access 97, and have included a subform on your form, when you are in Design view, the subform appears blank (just a white square).

To work on the subform, I used to exit the main form then open the subform separately. I have just discovered that if you double click on the subform whilst in Design view of the main form, the subform will open. Now this may be simple to some of you, but if you do not know this then the other option can be quite cumbersome, so I thought this was worth a mention here.
